Chapter 2

That morning Raven got up and was packing his things when the phone rang with Dave

answering it and calling for Raven to take it.  Raven picked up the phone to hear

someone he did not think to hear.  “Raven its Robin. Look I know you are coming here,

but I think we just better send someone to you instead.”

“Who are you sending?”

“Someone I think that may help with this one.”

“But who Robin?”

“You will see.”

“Alright fine then.” Raven said a little upset with her, but he got why she did that cause if

it was Isa then he would have freaked out big time.  “Raven I have to go now. Things are

happening around here right now.”

“What do you mean?”

“Slayers are dieing.”

“Say what?!” Raven said freaking out again with everyone in the house looking at him

again. “Some thing is killing off the slayers. One slayer was sent to LA and we lost her.”

“I know I was out when she was killed. I saw the vampire also.”

“You saw him? What does he look like?”

“He looks like Sky does.”

“Wait it looked like Sky?”

“Yes it did.”

“Fuck!”

“What Robin?”

“That ain’t good.”

“I know.”

“Look call me with anything that happens so we know.”

“Alright.”

“Than I am out and have fun with the slayer.”

“Later and thanks.” Raven spoke hanging up the phone with Dave and Sly watching him

now.  “Raven did we miss something?”

“Yeah Sly. Things are happening in Dallas too.”

“I see and it’s that bad there too?”

“As Robin put it yeah, but we are getting a slayer to come here and help us out.”

“Do you know who?”

“Nope she would not tell me.”

“Damn that ain’t right for all we know its one of your girls coming here.”

“That could be, but who knows.” Raven said to Sly with them going back to the work that

they were doing. Raven went to his room getting his clothes out of the case.


Dave was in front of a computer looking up things about what was happening when he

got an IM from Otto.  So he started to talk with her too. “Hey love how’s you?”

“Good here, sweetie and you?”

“Alright just missing you.”

“Missing you too lots. Kiss.”

“Kiss. What are you doing?”

“Looking up things on what happened here yesterday.”

“With the slayer and all?”

“Yeah, did you know her?”

“I did.”

“Who was she?”

“Brandy a friend of mine.”

“I am sorry, Otto.”

“Its alright it’s not your fault. She went out on her own and we knew she may not come

back alive.”

“Raven is the one that found her dead on the ground.”

“Yeah I know Robin told us about it.”

“I am so sorry love. Hug and kiss.”

“It’s alright hun. Hug and kiss u back.”

“Love u.”

“Love u too.”

“Kiss.”

“Kiss. How have u been hun?”

“Alright here just missing u, love.”

“Ditto love. Oh hey I better go. Gaylan is calling for his students now. I love you, Dave.

Bye”

“Bye I love u too Otto.” Dave typed and Otto was gone again with him missing

her even more then before. Dave went back to work looking up more things with Sly

walking into the room. Dave looked up at him then spoke, “What is it, Sly?”

“Raven is acting really weird right now.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“He is just freaking out.”

“Weird. Alright I think we better check out the streets tonight.”

“Sounds good to me.” Sly spoke walking out of the room with Dave going back to work

some more, but he kept thinking about Otto and how much he missed her since the last

time he saw her. They were hugging and kissing plus talking listening about each other’s

lives and wanting to be together forever. “I love and miss you Otto.” Dave breathed out

loud just so he could hear her name again. Dave got up and went to find Raven to check

on him.


Raven sat in the library talking with a girl that had long blonde hair, but its was pulled

back and up into a bun and her deep blue eyes were watching Dave as he came into the

room. When Dave got closer he saw she was about five four in height. She smiled at

Dave who just smiled a little and sat down by Raven.  “Dave this is Lauren.” Raven said

with her smiling even more then before.  “Nice to meet another hunter.”

“Thank you. It’s nice to meet you also.” Lauren spoke with Dave looking at Raven

then.  “Raven I found out who that slayer was that got killed last night.”

“Who was she?”

“Her name was Brandy and she was friends with Otto.” Dave spoke a little sad for his

love and her loose. Raven just looked away at the thought of Otto knowing her. Lauren

looked back and forth between both guys for a little while then she spoke, “Do you guys

know anything about that vampire?” they looked at her for a little before Dave spoke

up, “I did not find a thing out about him.”

“Well why don’t you ask me about him?” a voice spoke with them looking to see Sly

standing there with the slayer that came to see them. Raven got up and looking at Sky

standing right there.  “Robin sent you to help us?”

“Yes plus Artemis. Since you said the vampire looked like me so why not send me.” Sky

spoke with a smile scary them a little since he did have fangs somewhat still.  They all

sat down talking about what was happening and also picking to all go out tonight to check

it out.
